The Municipality of Brockton encompasses the Town of Walkerton, the Township of Brant and the Township of Greenock. It stretches twenty miles east to west and sixteen miles north to south. The eastern portion consists of a series of beautiful small recreational lakes, excellent farm land comprising the Saugeen Clay Plains in the north and the Horseshoe Moraines around Walkerton. Westerly landscape changes to include the Greenock Swamp which covered 150,000 acres in 1872. The Swamp is the largest protected Class 1 wetland in Southern Ontario and is recognized Canada-wide for its uniqueness. It is home to a great variety of large ancient trees, a multitude of rare unique flora as well as many different species of wildlife.

The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is a municipal corporation that commenced operations on January 1, 1999. It encompasses the former Townships of Eastnor, Lindsay and St. Edmunds and the Village of Lion's Head. Many other hamlets within NBP are Tobermory, Stokes Bay, Pike Bay, Miller Lake, Barrow Bay, Ferndale, Dyers Bay and the Lindsay 20 communities.
The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is the northerly neighbouring community to the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, the home of Wiarton Willie. Highway 6 traverses northerly through NBP. The peninsula itself is surrounded on the east by Georgian Bay and on the west by Lake Huron.
