The Municipality of West Grey, located in Southwestern Ontario, is an amalgamated municipality, consisting of the former Townships of Bentinck, Glenelg and Normanby, the former Village of Neustadt, and the former Town of Durham. West Grey is the largest municipality in the County of Grey, in terms of geographic area, and has a population of approximately 12,000.
West Grey is within one-and-a-half to two hours of Highways 400 & 401, and within a half hour of commercial harbour facilities in the City of Owen Sound. The Saugeen Municipal Airport is a modern airport facility jointly owned by a number of municipalities, including West Grey, and is the Saugeen community's key to the provincial airport network, offering quality service to both recreational and commercial traffic.
