Perth EastOn January 1, 1998, the former Townships of Ellice, Mornington, North Easthope, South Easthope and the Village of Milverton officially restructured to become the Township of Perth East. The new municipality has over 7,000 hectares, 4,000 households and a total population of approximately 12,000.

The Municipal Administrative Centre is in Milverton, which is the largest, fully serviced urban centre within the Municipality.

Perth SouthThe Township of Perth South was created on January 1, 1998 as a result of an amalgamation of the former Township of Blanshard and the former Township of Downie and includes the Villages of Sebringville and Kirkton.  There are smaller settlement areas known as the Hamlets that include:  Avonbank, Avonton, Conroy, Harmony, Prospect Hill, Rannoch, St. Pauls, Whalen Corners, and Woodham.

The Township of Perth South is situated in southwestern Ontario at the southeastern boundary of the County of Perth. 

Perth South has a population of 4,132 people (2006) residing in 1,483 households.    The area is comprised predominantly of a mix of rural agricultural and hamlet residential uses with a total land area of 39,202 hectares.
