The Township of Centre Wellington is the largest municipality in Wellington County and one of the fastest growing communities in Ontario with about 26,000 residents. It has a vibrant mix of industrial, commercial and residential sectors. We also host the largest selection of bed & breakfasts, inns and motels.
Centre Wellington was formed through the amalgamation of Fergus, Elora, and parts of Nichol, Pilkington, West Garafraxa and Eramosa Townships.

The Town of Erin is an amalgamated community of 11,830 people in 3,900 households, situated in Wellington County, just northwest of Toronto. We have two urban centres, Erin and Hillsburgh, surrounded by a natural rural area which includes six hamlets: Ballinafad, Brisbane, Cedar Valley, Crewson's Corners, Orton and Ospringe. We are bordered by the Town of Caledon to the east, the Town of Halton Hills to the south, the Township of Guelph/Eramosa to the west and the Township of East Garafraxa to the north.
The Town of Erin is located at the headwaters of the Credit and Grand Rivers.

In 1999 the former Townships of Guelph, Eramosa, Pilkington and Nichol were amalgamated and formed the Township of Guelph/Eramosa. Guelph/Eramosa was incorporated on January 1, 1999.
The Township of Guelph/Eramosa is fortunate to have a balance of rural and urban life. The Township boasts two conservation areas, World Class Golf Courses, Horse Ranches, Parks, Walking Trails including the Trans Canada Trail, Camps, Community Centres etc.

While not a large commercial centre, the Township of Mapleton is a strong, growing and vibrant community made up of a rich and diverse cultural background. We offer the distinct characteristics enjoyed by rural living and are proud of our heritage.
Many features give Mapleton its distinctive charm, such as the Old Order Mennonites traveling by horse and buggy and the century old buildings located throughout the Township.

The Town of Minto, located in the north-western boundary of Wellington County. The Town of Minto is well situated between the major centres of southern Ontario and popular recreational areas along the eastern shore of Lake Huron and southern Georgian Bay. The Town of Minto is composed of the former towns of Harriston and Palmerston, the former village of Clifford and surrounding rural area of the former Minto Township. The Township of Puslinch is located directly south of the City of Guelph and east of the City of Cambridge with Highway 401 bisecting the Township from east to west. Puslinch was named after the English home of Elizabeth Yonge, wife of Sir John Colborne, the Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada, 1828-35. Puslinch was incorporated as a Township on January 1, 1850. The Township residents celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2000. Villages in Puslinch include Aberfoyle, Aikensville, Arkell, Badenoch, Crieff, Glen Christie, Killean, Paddock's Corners, Morriston, Corwhin, Downey, Puslinch, and Puslinch Lake.
