The Township of Wellingon North invites you to explore our beautiful Township. Nestled in a picturesque rural setting, the Township is located at the north end of Wellington County. Anchored by the communities of Arthur in the south and Mount Forest in the north, the Township also encompasses the charming hamlets of Conn, Damascus, Farewell, Gordonville, Monck, Petherton, Riverstown and Tollgate. The hamlet of Kenilworth is the geographical heart of the Township and the location of the Municipal Offices.
Tours and Trails
The Butter Tart Trail™ winds through the Township along scenic country roads.
Luther Marsh Trail - The trail circles the Luther Marsh which is home to a wide variety of birds and mammals.
Saugeen Valley Trail - Runs along the Saugeen River in Mount Forest.
Marvin Howe Trail - Located in the Arthur Community park, along the Conestogo river at the south end of Arthur.
