This route starts in Kemptville from the Rideau Glenn Golf Course and loops around to Jasper and Merrickville, then back to Kemptville. The Locks This Way Lollipop offers cyclists a great introduction to the Rideau Canal lock stations system.

You will be cycling along the beautiful waterway for a large portion of this tour. This route also has optional stops at apple orchards and a visit to one of eastern Ontario’s hot spots for artists and art galleries – the quaint village of Merrickville.

Up for more of a challenge? This 76km circle joins up with the 125km Rideau Canal Cycling Itinerary: Westport – Delta – Jasper route, making a 201km loop that allows you to explore all of Leeds Grenville.
